Site Preparation Guide
Please review the following before your scheduled window covering installation appointment.
To help your installation proceed safely and efficiently, please ensure the work areas are prepared before our technician arrives.
Before Our Arrival
- Remove breakable items such as lamps, pictures, decor, collectibles, and other fragile belongings from around the windows.
- Move small furniture and household items away from the installation areas.
- Allow 2-3 feet of clear working space around each window whenever possible.
- Provide an open area where moving blankets can be laid down and products can be unpacked and prepared.
- Secure pets in a separate room or safe area during the installation.
- Keep children away from the work area, as tools, ladders, and long products may be in use.
Important Notes
- Our technicians may assist with moving some furniture; however, very heavy furniture should be moved in advance, as it cannot be safely moved by a technician on their own.
- Some window covering products are long and delicate, so clear access through hallways, stairways, and tight corners is appreciated.
- Installation may involve the use of ladders, drills, and hand tools.
- Minor dust may occur during the installation process. Our team will always work carefully and respectfully within your home.
Thank you for preparing your space in advance. A properly prepared home helps us work safely, protect your belongings,
and complete your installation as efficiently as possible.
